Problem.
I wanted to make abstract portrait art at scale — using a constant (composition, time) and a variable (an AI's interpretation) so the resulting portraits feel "linear in form, abstract in meaning." Manual creation per piece doesn't scale; off-the-shelf AI portrait services don't have the methodology to keep a brand identity coherent across a hundred orders.
Approach.
WordPress front-end with a custom upload interface for customer photos. Etsy handles fulfillment and payments. The processing pipeline is AI portrait generation, then a Photoshop pixel-stretch refinement pass keyed off custom action sets I built. The methodology stays consistent across every order so the brand reads coherent — the tagline "appear linear, be abstract" is the visual philosophy in five words.
Outcome.
Live commerce site with before-and-after gallery, customer upload flow, Etsy integration, email capture for new-product nudges. The methodology is the moat — generic Midjourney can't reproduce the look without the action sets.
